All applications receive a comprehensive review.
We evaluate each application comprehensively and review both academic and non-academic factors. Evidence of academic preparation is the primary focus, so coursework that a student has taken during their high school years is very important, with heavier emphasis on grades earned later in the high school career. Applicants should keep in mind that in-progress coursework is also considered, so it is important that they continue to work hard and take challenging courses throughout their high school career.
The non-academic factors are an important part of the comprehensive review. Applicants should be sure to share aspects of themselves outside the classroom that will help us better understand who they are as an individual and how their experiences have shaped them and demonstrate their ability to succeed at the university.
